We did! And decided we could do the same for others

Onepoint was born out of necessity. A £20,000,000 manufacturing business had realised that sales, estimating, production and management were all 'talking different languages' and chasing bits of paper around the office and factory. Working with the local University, an in-house team developed a management software system which reached right through to the machine operators on the production line. The effects were felt throughout the business. In the first year waste was decreased by 6.7% and profits increased by £435,000.

These dramatic results attracted attention from other businesses, especially in the US. The Onepoint team of developers and support staff out grew its in-house roots and backed by Dave McGuire became independent. Onepoint Office and Onepoint Factory were launched and the first commercial installations quickly proved the in-house success of the systems.
